IWA Staff Achieve BASIS Invasive Species Qualifications


Japanese Knotweed BASISInvasive Weeds Agency Ltd (IWA) are delighted to announce that two staff members, Jamie Hodgson and Jed VanHagen, have gained the BASIS Amenity Horticulture Award (Invasive Species). IWA’s BASIS adviser and business manager, Graham Rudd, comments, “IWA are very proud of Jamie and Jed’s achievements. Gaining university level qualifications through BASIS shows our company’s commitment to tackling invasive non-native plant species. We hope that the public will realise the importance of employing suitably qualified consultants and contractors for eradication of invasive plants such as Japanese knotweed.
